Coffee Club
Saturday Coffee Mornings For Seniors
 The Coffee Club meets every Saturday morning from 10.15 – 11.30 at the C3 Centre.
A small donation of 50p for delicious coffee and cakes is a small price to pay for these lovely mornings. Occasionally musical entertainment is arranged and all events are well attended. Our friends mostly come from the Trumpington area of Cambridge although everyone is welcome regardless of where they live. If you would like to bring someone then please feel free to join us or drop them off and collect them later. Although we have limited resources, we may be able to pick people up from their homes if they cannot arrive under their own steam.
About the funds: The money collected each week is used for various Christmas activities or donated to Children’s Charities. In the past we have supported:

‘The Grannies Programme’ organised by Rainbow Africa International, which provides food for grandparents in Livingstone, Zambia who are the only carers for their orphaned grandchildren

‘Operation Christmas Child’ where shoeboxes, filled with treats, are sent to children mostly in Eastern Europe who would otherwise not receive anything at Christmas

An orphanage in India where the children are being given an education as well as food and shelter
